This immersive four-night course introduces students to the core teachings of the Cabot Tradition, founded by Laurie Cabot and carried forward through generations of practice. With Laurie serving as co-teacher and Paul Messerle serving as lead instructor, Reverend, and High Priest in the Cabot Tradition, Witchcraft I focuses on developing your natural psychic abilities through extensive hands-on practice. Students learn how majick works by exploring Alpha brainwaves, aura awareness, visualization, and healing techniques - building the essential skills that support intuitive growth and spiritual awareness.

 

This class is highly experiential, with guided exercises throughout to help you strengthen accuracy, confidence, and perception. There is a gentle psychic assessment at the end of the course, but the emphasis is always on learning and practice rather than testing. While spell work and manifestation are introduced conceptually, Witchcraft I is primarily about psychic development - providing the tools and inner awareness needed for the deeper manifestation, spellcraft, and energetic work explored in Witchcraft II. This advanced course is open to students who have successfully completed Witchcraft I and are ready to move from psychic development into active spellcraft and manifestation. Building on the foundational skills learned in Witchcraft I, this class focuses on how to consciously direct energy through herb craft, ritual, and focused intention. Rooted in the Cabot Tradition founded by Laurie Cabot - a living tradition she developed and expanded after learning its original teachings from a woman in Boston whose practice came from Kent, England - Witchcraft II brings these methods into practical, modern application. Laurie serves as co-teacher, with Paul Messerle serving as lead instructor, Reverend, and High Priest in the Cabot Tradition.

 

A key focus of Witchcraft II is learning the tools of Witchcraft and how to energetically empower them using the psychic awareness developed in Witchcraft I. Students will work hands-on with ritual practices while exploring crystals, astrology, potions, and the majick of nature, learning how to charge, direct, and align their energy for effective spellcraft and manifestation. This course emphasizes experiential learning and real-world application, helping you move from inner development to outward practice. Upon completion, students receive a Second Degree Certificate. Witchcraft II is designed to deepen confidence, expand understanding, and empower you to actively create meaningful change through intentional, tradition-based practice.

Explore the tarot with Salem's Official Witch. Laurie will guide you in this five-night class through the four suits and major arcana of the tarot, their traditional meanings, and how to incorporate those into a reading. Laurie will also talk about life as a professional tarot reader, providing tips and tricks on success and offering your clients real and meaningful guidance.
