The Cabot Tradition Pathway
Begin your journey with Witchcraft I, where you’ll develop your natural psychic abilities through hands-on practice, guided by the teachings of Laurie Cabot and led by Reverend and High Priest Paul Messerle. You’ll learn to access Alpha, strengthen intuition, and build energetic awareness. Witchcraft II then builds on this foundation, guiding you into spellcraft, manifestation, ritual, and working with the tools of Witchcraft - learning how to energetically empower them using the skills gained in Witchcraft I. Together, these courses offer a complete, experiential path from inner development to real-world majick.
Witchcraft 1: The Science of Witchcraft
Class dates: December 7 - 10, 2026
Classes begin at 7 pm ET
This immersive four-night course introduces students to the core teachings of the Cabot Tradition, founded by Laurie Cabot and taught through decades of dedicated practice. Led by Reverend Paul Messerle, High Priest in the Cabot Tradition, Witchcraft I focuses on understanding the science of Witchcraft while developing your natural psychic abilities through extensive hands-on practice. Students learn how majick works by exploring Alpha brainwaves, visualization, healing techniques, and the fundamental principles of psychic perception - building the essential skills that support intuitive growth and spiritual awareness.

This class is highly experiential, with guided exercises throughout to help strengthen accuracy, confidence, and perception. A gentle psychic assessment concludes the course, but the emphasis is always on learning, exploration, and practice rather than testing. While spell work and manifestation are introduced conceptually, Witchcraft I is primarily about psychic development - providing the tools and inner awareness needed for the deeper manifestation, spellcraft, and energetic work explored in Witchcraft II.

The goal is practical, real-world application: helping you recognize and trust your own abilities while beginning to bring meaningful, tangible majick into everyday life.

Throughout the course, students may also have the opportunity to hear directly from Laurie Cabot as her schedule permits, offering additional insights into the tradition she founded.

Witchcraft 2: The Art of Witchcraft
Class dates: February 8 - 11, 2027
Classes begin at 7 pm ET
This advanced four-night course is open to students who have successfully completed Witchcraft I: The Science of Witchcraft and are ready to move from psychic development into the practical application of majick. Led by Reverend Paul Messerle, High Priest in the Cabot Tradition, Witchcraft II focuses on the Art of Witchcraft - learning how to consciously direct energy through spellcraft, ritual, focused intention, and the sacred tools of the Craft.
Building upon the psychic foundation developed in Witchcraft I, students explore the practical application of Cabot Tradition teachings through hands-on work with herbs, crystals, astrology, potions, ritual, and the majick of nature. Students learn how to energetically empower tools, raise and direct energy, and align intention with action to create meaningful and effective manifestation.

Like Witchcraft I, this course is highly experiential, emphasizing guided practice, discussion, and real-world application. Students leave with a deeper understanding of how to integrate psychic ability, ritual, and spellcraft into a personal and effective practice grounded in the Cabot Tradition.
Upon successful completion of the course, students receive their Second Degree Certificate.

Tarot
Class dates: TBA
Classes begin at 7pm ET
** This is a 5-night class. **
Explore the tarot with Salem's Official Witch. Laurie will guide you in this five-night class through the four suits and major arcana of the tarot, their traditional meanings, and how to incorporate those into a reading. Laurie will also talk about life as a professional tarot reader, providing tips and tricks on success and offering your clients real and meaningful guidance.

Completion of this course will entitle you to a Cabot Tarot certificate.
